Here comes Cuddy to pitch! He's always said he's wanted to try it, and now he's finally getting the chance. He is the ultimate position player

Meet Michael Cuddyer & Drew Butera!

Date: Saturday, August 6
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Festival Foods
2671 County Road E E
White Bear Lake, MN 55110
If anyone's going to that one, I'd love to get my Butera Orange /25 or Cuddy red /25 signed. Probably could get an extra at Span with how few people will be there.

I could get you a Butera for a Span but that hardly seems fair. I have too many things I need Cuddy on to give up a Cuddy sig. Don't think i'd be getting through the line twice with Cuddy there.

Who on current roster are considered toughest autos to get from team. Besides Mauer and Morneau? Does Pavano ever sign much. Is Kubel very good in person. Pavano you would think would always be in demand for being first pitch guy from Target Field and Kubel for first home run hit in new stadium.

I might have to skip Perk for that one... except the line is going to be LONG

No way you skip a Perk signing.

Wow Twins getting a beatdown tonight. I'm all for some big trades to break this group up. If Span brings a nice return, move him. His value will never get higher. Still talk about Red Sox here being interested in Cuddy.
With Hicks and Benson coming soon. They need to give these guys a shot next year.

I would skip for Cuddy. I have met Perk twice and would only be getting him on a small item. For Cuddy I would do my best to rack up a better thing to get signed.

EDIT: No I wouldn't try to get something better (as in more expensive I guess). I need him on the ticket stubb for my first ever MLB game. He is the only current Twin who played that day.

Most of the players could be had since most of them have been at signings. Only guys that I can think of that haven't either been at a paid or free event are Nick Blackburn and Jose Mijares but Jose is good in person. I like to really only do sit down signings and I haven't seen one for either of those two. Nishioka has been kind of tough but he did sign at the Majors event but didn't sign a ton and left early. He has signed minimal autos at the stadium.

I love all the guys on one day. The crowds at each location will be thinner on the 6th, making it easier to hit multiple locations if one chooses. Crap, we are so spoiled here with how much the Twins players actually do get out and do events and do signings. I say stop complaining so damn much about what day they are all signing and just be thankful you live in a city with a team thats willing to do this as much as the Twins do. Just my $.02 worth.

You have been thanked. Twins are hands down the best organization when it comes to getting their players out to the fans, or at least other opportunities. (private signings and such)

Agreed. Living in Boston area. The Red Sox don't do anything even close to what the Twins do for signing opps.

If this deal goes thorough this afternoon, I'll finally have a copy of a certain member of the Twins retired numbers club's rookie card. I've been very picky over the years, so we'll see if it gets done so I can post some scans. Kind of pumped

This would look nice signed. Which ones would be the easiest to try to hit multiples, Span and Perkins? I might see how many times I can get through Span. Printing plate, bat, ROLMB possibly, 8*10 with full name

Yes, the locations are about 20 mins apart max.
Go get Span, leave yourself about 20 mins to get from Richfield Sports Authority to AV Best Buy. Im betting that you will be able to walk right in and get Perkins with 10 mins left in the signing session. Two weeks ago, I walked into the Woodbury Best Buy with about 10 mins left in the Duensing signing, walked right up, got two cards signed and left, in and out in a minute.

I havent decided what I will do yet as the Cuddy one has thrown me a curveball which is OK, I like a challenge. The Valley West show in Bloomington is that same day and Buzz Schneider (1980 Olympic Gold Team) is going to be signing so I was going to hit all three in the area that day, still might, but I would like to get Cuddy on a couple of other things. So its like, do I stick to the original plan and hit the three in the south burbs, or skip Span and Perkins and just do Cuddy/Butera in WBL and then drive to Bloomington for Buzz? Hmmmmmmmmmm..................decisions decisions, love'em. :D

Do you think it'd be possible to get through Span 3 times, or just twice? Or maybe they'll just allow two per from the start

The first 2 that I went to (Valencia and Revere), the Twins Rep that was with them was clearly telling everyone only 1 item per, but when I went to the Nathan signing there was a guy in front of me with one of those notebooks with cards on them and Nathan signed 3 of them for him, so I would assume it depends on which rep is with the player.

If the line is as short as it seems there should be, maybe they'd realize he can easily get through everyone with 2 per. There can only be so many Twins fans in the cities here that go to the signings, and it seems like Cuddy/Butera would be top choose, plus Fan HQ already sold their 100 tickets for Kubel

Good one! This one would be good with a #1 ERA 2011 Twins inscription

I wonder what he'd have to say about that picture

Great signing for the Gophers. Adam Weber signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent. He and Decker could be a pretty good combo, hopefully he can stick around long enough to maybe play in the regular season

Anyone an ESPN Insider? Want to know what they have to say now about the Nationals CF search, if it's no longer Span that they want
