I have never seen any of you all sell stuff in this thread. What is the right avenue to sell stuff on this site. I sell and trade a lot on Neshek forums but never here. Just don't want to step on any toes and I have some Ginter cards I want to sell. Thanks for any feedback.

Edit: PS: Devin, Ryan, and anyone else that have had succesful trades with me in the past on Neshek forums do me a huge favor and give me a referral please. Thanks

Just make a thread in the transactions forums. Scans help. Be descriptive... basically the same stuff you would do over there.

If you have on of those trader threads on Neshek's you could probably link it too here to help you out.

Thanks man I might do that. Oh by the way check the Neshek Forum. There has been a new development in Teesa's thread.

No problem!

I ended up mailing the package to myself ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

I will switch the addys around and re send with a different DC#

I'm sorry, thats funny. All the hassle for a pretty comical mistake. Its good that everything is figured out, and funny story to boot

It is pretty funny I guess. I was kinda frustrated when I opened the mailbox to find that I had sent the thing to myself... Oh well. I will send it out in the next half hour or so.

Interesting article by Souhan that we should trade Cuddyer and resign him like Aguilera; but not sure if that's worth doing that to Cuddyer

I mentioned that a few weeks ago, but it didn't seem to go over well with anyone. I just think that if we are going to be sellers at the deadline that we need to look for the future. Cuddyer is by far our biggest asset right now and if we could get a top of the rotation pitching prospect for him and then re-sign him at the end of the year, it's a win-win for us. And I don't think anyone would disagree that he would definitely want to come back, so why not give him up for a couple months and get an asset for the future when we can get him right back? The only negative I see is the negative press that we would get for trading him and knowing the Twins that will be enough to keep us from trading him. As of right now the only player we know for sure that will be gone in the next couple days is Slowey.

Im not even being a homer here with Cuddyer, but trading him in hopes of resigning him in the off season not only will be sending the wrong message to the heart and soul of this team (yes, Cuddyer is the glue to this team, on and off the field) but it would also be a slap in the face. Cuddy doesnt want to leave, he wants to stay in Minnesota, he should be given that opportunity to be a Twin for life and Bill Smith and the Twins are really effing this one up. Cuddy leaves, this team folds for the season and there will be no one in that clubhouse to bring moral up, sad sad situation for the team and the fans. My opinion, sign Cuddy to a 4 yr contract after the season. As for right now, get rid of that ***** Morneau he's worthless, move Young for what you can get for him, Kubel, well he will end up leaving after the season anyways, so move him too. Slowey looks to be gone, move Capps if you can. You have an OF of Revere/Span/Cuddy/Repko/Plouffe. You have an infield of Cuddy/Mauer/Casilla/Nishi/Valencia/Butera. Thome is still our DH when a righty is pitching. If this team is going to call it a year, they need to do it properly, not just get rid of guys cause they have the most value right now and hope and pray to get them back, asinine!!! Fans will not come back this year (I will be one of them) IMO if this team folds up shop and trades the one guy that cares about this team, this community, the fans. You cant just dont do that and expect fans to be OK with it.

I know, I agree with the fact that the fans would be pissed and that is the reason that the Twins won't do it, I was just trying to make a point that this team isn't going anywhere with the pieces we have and we need to do something. The only reason I bring up Cuddyer is because he has the most potential to bring back big pieces for this team. If he was having an okay season then he wouldn't even be mentioned in trade talks. I don't want to trade him, just looking out for our future. I thought this was an interesting read and I agree with some of the points that he makes.. he also makes a good point about bringing Cuddyer back.

This is going to be the last post I make on this subject.

I re-sent the package. I got the addresses on right, and the zip on the DC slip isn't mine so it must have worked.

Here is the DC for all to see:

Why is Morneau's name never brought up in players the Twins should look to trade?
Why are the Twins continuing to look to pay this softy 15 million a year when he cant stay healthy enough to play 50% of his games, let alone an easily obtainable 85-90% of his games? If you can get a middle reliever or decent starter or some kind of prospects for him, run his ass out of town.

I know there isnt much value in Morneau right now, but it pisses me off that his name is never brought up for consideration.

Trust me if I had my way he would be outta here too, only problem is we can't trade an injured player so he's never healthy enough to trade. I would say the Twins might now want to trade him and split up the M&M boys but I'm sure he will be gone eventually. If not in the next year or two, then Sano is eventually gonna have his spot. Or if we can get a decent catcher than Mauer will take his spot.

Agree with Musials Post partially.

Morneau -> Out
Capps -> Out
Slowey -> Out
Keep Cuddy

But, When Thome is gone next year it will be nice to have Kubel as our DH and fill in OF.

What was your high bid? I thought it went very low and was actually surprised I won it for what I did. The Gold /25 have gone anywhere from $20-$30 when I've seen them.

I would like to keep Kubel too, as I think he is a hell of an asset at DH, but I dont see the Twins resigning him either so I am banking on if they truly feel the need to trade either Kubel or Cuddyer, that they would choose Kubel, as Cuddy is a bigger asset at all of the positions he plays and his ability to stay healthy.

I don't think any team wants Morneau right now. That is why his name isn't mentioned. Unless Twins are willing to eat a bunch of that contract no chance he is going anywhere. Like MC said, guy is overpaid and soft. I'm also still not happy about Mauer contract either.
TG sweet Span pick up.
Is their any Twins autos in Bowman Platinum this year.
Is Nishi getting much heat in local media?

Denard on the block? I apologize if this was posted earlier, I'm too lazy to look.

I was just going to post the same thing.. Looks like talks are progressing since the last time I posted this :( :( I think Storen could be a really good pickup for the Twins and be the closer of the future, but I would rather try and move Revere for him than Span.. I just don't see much more of Revere than what he's already shown.

Agreed - I'm a much bigger fan of Span than Revere. Not a knock on Revere, I just like Denard a lot.
