Does anybody know if the Twins lower their prices on Game-Used items for former players? I was planning on buying a Span GU Bat this weekend from TF and then having it signed on my birthday, but if we actually end up trading him then I'm going to wait. I'm pretty sure right now that they run about $250.

Yup. I bought a Kevin Mulvey Game Issued jersey a couple years back off the "departed" rack. I know he wasn't the GREATEST pitcher, or played a ton of games for that matter... but it, and everything on that rack was cheaper than the guys who were current.

I am hoping Perk sticks around for TwinsFest... I am still planning on getting 2 game used jerseys signed by him there... The goal is still $1000 bucks... this job (if I get it) will help me reach it.

With Perkins having this good of a year I don't think there should be too much worry that we'll bring him back. We need all the bullpen we can get and we won't lose him. I just don't know if they do trade him if the price on his GU stuff will drop right away or not. But I guess if he does get traded then I don't necessarily have to get the bat right away since he won't be having his signing..

Last year I think I brought about $350 to TwinsFest and spent about $300. Might bring that much again this year. Will probably do less of the paid signings unless there is something specific that I want.

Besides the signings, did you buy mostly cards or GU stuff? I was going to plan on going to as many signings as I could, but not too much with the dealers

I actually didn't buy any GU stuff there last year. Most of the money went to signings, probably about only $30-$40 on cards, and before I left I picked up a box of 2010 Bowman Chrome for $45. The autograph signings add up pretty quick if you hit quite a few of them.

I maybe had $200 or so. A good share went to signings and cards. All the game used stuff was too overpriced.

I really hope they keep Perk too. He seems to have gotten a slight attitude change and he is pitching a lot better than he has.

I just won a Perk auto but I had to spend my money at the PO to avoid another catastrophe... crap... It isn't too expensive and this is only day one.

I'm pretty sure the guys only sign one item, I don't even know if you can buy multiple items at once either. Someone more experienced with it could help you with that but I had 3 items for Span last year and just went to his table on each different day rather than multiple times through one line. Also the fact that if you can pay for multiples that you may end up getting whoever he is with multiple times too. Since I needed 3 things for Span I would rather just go to his different times since he was with different players.

Nothing bad, but I only had enough money to ship a package that had to be shipped. I ended up winning this Perkins autograph last night for more than expected. Now I have to come up with the money for that. It isn't very expensive, I just only had enough money to do one or the other, and I chose the most important one.

I just didn't want this trade to become what happened over on Neshek's.

They had a Perkins 5by7 autographed Gophers uniform picture for $5, and a sale on autographed 16by20s for $25, which is their regular price for non autographed. A nice bold Baker signature, a nice Neshek, Blackie, Blair, Kramer, JJ Bum Hardy, maybe one other.

I would say more like $50ish. You may get more if there are some others out there buying him up but base autos from Platinum out of the gate have been really slow and he has an auto already (Bowman Sterling). Still a very nice pull either way though.

i think Span being dinged up, probably does keep teams from making a big move for him. I doubt he gets moved.

Any news on Morneau. Is he even coming back this year.
