Always cool to see pics of collections.

i think Span being dinged up, probably does keep teams from making a big move for him. I doubt he gets moved.

Any news on Morneau. Is he even coming back this year.

Doctors clear Span to return
Valencia, Nishioka get Friday off
OAKLAND -- Twins first baseman Justin Morneau, who had been battling migraines since Monday, felt much better on Friday and hit in the indoor batting cage at Target Field for the first time as part of his rehab process from neck surgery.

Morneau, who underwent surgery to remove a herniated disk fragment in his neck on June 29, passed his final hurdle by swinging the bat and is now only limited by how he feels moving forward.

"Justin Morneau had a great day today, the best he's had yet," Twins trainer Rick McWane said. "His migraines and headaches are gone. He threw, ran and started swinging the bat for the first time, and had no issues with his neck or wrist. We were very happy with the progress he made today."

McWane hinted that Morneau could be ready for a rehab assignment by the time the Twins return to Minneapolis next Friday. But Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said he'd rather Morneau first hit in simulated games at the club's Spring Training complex in Fort Myers, Fla.

"I think the best-case scenario for me would be to get him in a simulated game, to see some live pitching in a controlled atmosphere [rather] than going right into Triple-A games or something like that," Gardenhire said. "But that's going to be determined. He swung today, but we'll see how he feels tomorrow."

Gardenhire said it'll be important to monitor Morneau's progress, simply because he so badly wants to return. But the club has to be cautious with their slugging first baseman.

"The one thing with Morneau is that we need to slow him down," Gardenhire said. "He's going to be a raging bull in a china cabinet. He wants to get going. So we have to be careful and make sure he doesn't have any setbacks."

Looks like the Span talk still won't die, now the Nationals are trying to trade Clippard instead of Storen. Not sure how much the Twins are actually listening but the more talk you would have to think they are. If you read some of the comments listed below there are some really delusional Nationals fans that think Clippard by himself is too much for Span... ::facepalm:: Also looking forward to seeing some of your collection GB.

Don't think I'll be able to have scans up in 4 minutes, just got everything sorted and getting ready for lunch, but I'll get a picture up of everything, have about 300 cards ready to scan :)

Here's the first scan. I'll probably make a whole thread since I've got baseball and football that I'm scanning, but post the Twins in here

Great stuff TB. Always cool seeing pictures/ videos from signings. Get that Perk one up when you can. Would be interesting seeing him sign.
One of these days you need to crack open TB vault and take some pictures of your Twins autograph stash.

Thanks! I thought the next one was Perk, it was actually a different one. I can share that one too, it's kinda cool. Then will be Perk.

I plan to do more videos of IP signings, but I lent my camera out to one of my parent's friends so they could do a project and I haven't seen it back. We had to switch phones up so I had to give up my HTC phone that had a camera in it, and my iPod won't take videos anymore so I am kinda stuck.

I might start taking pictures fairly soon. I don't have much that's worthy to share though.

The Great, Good, Bad and Ugly

The Great: Jairo Perez- hitting .350 in 43 games with 11 home runs. OPS of 1.051, Slugging % .625, oh and hes an infielder, a position in which the Twins are weak in.
The good: Liam Hendriks- In 8 starts with New Britain he went 8-2 with 2.70 era. In 2 games at Rochester Liam has went 6.2 and 6.0 strong innings despite giving up 2,3 earned runs respectivley. After the 2 starts so far he is at 3.55 Era which is quite decieveing for how well he has pitched.
The Bad: Pat Dean- After carving up the mid-west league with ease ( 8 games with 2.86 era) Dean has struggled in Fort Myers this season going 2-4 with a 5.85 era. It seems he is losing control of his pitches occaisonally more so than in Beloit
The Ugly: Aaron Hicks- In the last 13 game he has went 5-44 (I have been keeping track via milb.com) and his batting average has dropped from .284 to .249 within the last month. This lackluster month is bad enough to land him in the "the ugly"

Time for another break, but still have a lot left, Decker, Gerhart, Span, Laurinaitis, and Robiskie. Here's some of the others, probably have enough Maroney for now.

Could use some help with this one. I know it's Laudner and White, I'm assuming Radke, but no idea on the fourth one.
