How early will you have to get to the game for the bobblehead?

I will be at TF by 1:00, and Im hoping that will be early enough.
This will be a highly popular Bobblehead, first one in years IMO that will be sought after.

Yeap, a difference of a guarantee and a chance.
You get there 6 hours before the game and are up by the gate, you guarantee yourself a bobble.
You get there 3 hours before the game and are way back in the plaza, you are taking a chance of not getting one.

I went to at the Dome for a Puckett, Carew and Santana giveaways.
Arrived 6 hours prior for a Puckett, was so far back I couldnt believe my eyes. For the Carew, arrived 4 hours prior, was a fiasco, zero organization. Arrived 6 hours ahead for the Santana, was the closest to the gate out of the above three scenarios. Guess which two I got and which one I was shut out of??

Last year, went to the one giveaway, the Minnie and Paul bobble. Arrived 6 hours prior, was right up by the gate, got my bobble. By the time the gates opened 2 hours prior to gametime, I can almost bet those arriving at that time got shut out.

All depends how badly you want the bobble and how much time you care to spend just hanging out at park, chatting and chilling with others.

Best of luck to you.

I think that's the biggest thing. If you really want to get one then it is much better to play it safe, get there nice and early and guarantee yourself one instead of taking a chance. I've never even been to a game for a bobblehead before so I'm not sure what to expect, but knowing Twins fans it will be pretty crazy.

It'd be nice if there was actually stuff to do on the plaza like there was at the Dome

Stuff like what? Bring your glove and play catch. Bring your iPod and rock out. Bring your laptop and tap into TF's free wifi and post on FCB and buy on eBay. Bring a cooler with lunch and beverages and enjoy the sunny afternoon. Strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. IMO, there is plenty to do if you put your mind to it and think outside of the box.

Game is at 7, gates will open at 5, get there at 1, you only have to kill 4 hours outside the stadium, seriously, how hard is that to do these days??

The trivia, band, food, and everything else they had there. I'd bring my laptop, but the battery that did last 5 hours is basically dead and lasts about 40 minutes.

How quick do you think the 10,000 people will be there for the bobbleheads? 4:00 or earlier?

Fast. I agree that this will be a popular item. Haven't been to games for the bobbles in a long time--would love to score a Minnie and Paul one someday. I have two tickets for tomorrow, but I'm not worried about trying to hurry up and get there. I bought in to the Season Ticket promo deal with my brother, so I should get one from that. Asked a friend to go, but he's has to check and all that. If he can't go, I'll bring one of my boys.

I would say for sure. Its a Friday people like me will leave work early, weather is forecasted as being a nice day, its the beginning of the 20 year reunion weekend, its the White Sox, its the only bobble (IIRC) this year, etc etc etc, its going to be busy down there.

Anyone going to have any extra bobbleheads they'd sell? I don't think I'll have a chance of being there early enough to get one.

People are pre-selling them on ebay for about $50-$60. Don't think they will ever become much cheaper than that.
