Sold the two extra bobbleheads for $79.95 and $75, $125 or so after shipping/fees. Pretty good I'd say

Wow you crushed on those bobblehead sales.

Looks like the Twins are done again. They fooled us for a little while, but went straight back into tank mode. Just me, but I would stick Morneau on waivers. See if some team wants his contract.

I don't even want to know what Nishi deal has left. He's Topps Chrome auto is gonna have a real cheap buy in the way he is playing.

Gotta give a learning curve for Nishi for the fist year. Next year he should know a lot more and play better. People still seem to think the next Ichiro will come along, but I think that's just wrong thinking. There'll never be another player out of Japan like Ichiro. It's like waiting for the next Clemente--has he come out yet? Some have come close, but not topped him.

For some reason I thought he got a 5 year 30 million deal. So His contract isn't that bad then. Yeah, I'm sure he will get a chance to play full time next year. But right now guy just looks like another bust from Japan. Reminds of all euro hoops guys picked high that think are gonna be the next Dirk. They all get drafted high/paid well and then suck their way out of NBA.

Agree Greg, but at what point should he have been sent to AAA to work on his fielding and hitting?
Nishi should not have been "learning" at the MLB level, especially since the Twins were at one point in the last few week in the Central chase. Now they are out of it IMO and now what, still let him learn at the MLB level? I dont know the answer. This has been a fail of a year on so many levels for the Twins, but Nishi's really sticks out with me, cant hit and cant field MLB pitching and hitting right now, hope somehow it gets better or this will be one expensive failed experiment.

you guys see many Nishi jerseys around TF at games. I hope at least his jersey/t shirts are selling in the team shops.

I still plan on picking up a few of his autos in Topps Chrome. Assuming Topps did get him to sign and he isn't a late delete from that auto checklist. Hope he blows up next year. Would have been smart to give him more time in AAA, then call him up now with the team pretty much done for the year.
Who do you guys think will be called up now to audition for next year? Still haven't heard what Gibson deal is. Sounds like he could be done for awhile.

He definitely needed some AAA work. Earlier in the season that should have happened, but I think they were too afraid to send a $3 mil/year player to the minors. Probably would have been better for both parties of he started in AAA.

I think Plouffe should be the SS of the future as long as he gets his airballs unde rcontrol and can make a throw to first.

Some serious hauling! Nice stuff. Sweet gamer bats.
Who are the real tough guys you need on the opening day photo? I would think a lot of people are working on those type items from first TF season. Good thing most Twins are fairly easy autos.
