Not Twins related but since this thread also pertains to MN baseball in general...

I have been reading up on Indians prospect Jordan Smith. I talked to one of his former coaches at the Valley West show and I was just interested in checking in. He plays for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (same team Tony Wolters is on). I think it's High-A short season. There is talk of a promotion soon. He is leading the team in AVG, RBI, OBP and Slugging, I think he was leading in OPS at one point too if he isn't currently. His team is 1 back in the division. Kinda cool having a team to root for seeing as though the 2 teams I am following (Twins, Stingers) are pretty bleak right now.

I already got started on the collection. I sent to him TTM a month back. He quickly sent back. I will be ordering a team set (probably a few) and breaking up a couple, and keeping one sealed. I am trying to track down his card from Willmar too (if anyone knows anyone in that direction that might have one... NWL cards are so hard to get... I want the signed and un-signed versions).

The kid is a great player. He is pretty cool in person too. I heard many nice things about him.

yea i got pavano on a card and seen his sig wow i have a baseball with his old sginature on it.

i didnt have my picture with me at the game otherwise i would have gotten him at the game. i have never taken this to a game, this has been all done at FanHQ or through them, and at TwinsFest. ive got to much into it to carry it to a game with me

Just finished scanning today's mailday. Thinking about taking the Span Refractor out of the BGS case. It's scratched up and the BGS 5 will probably bother me haha. Got all of them at great prices though. Also got both the Morneau and Wimmers in separate trades and if anybody has seen Wimmers Chrome Auto's, this one is in GREAT shape. I might get it graded. The centering is very good and the Auto unlike all of his other Autos isn't running off of the card and isn't streaky.

Yeah, that is about as good as it gets for Winners autos. Nice find. Agree, most of his cert autos look like crap. Same with Luke Hughes Topps Chrome autos. A lot of those look streaky.

The best thing about it was that I didn't even know. I traded a Sergio Santos Topps Chrome Auto for it and was very happy to see what it looked like when I got it today.

Your hardest one will probably be Brendan Harris. He is in the minors. Cottnat from Neshek forums only has him left and has been contacting him for awhile but its been tough.

What do you think? Should I pull the trigger. I have no idea if this is Legit but if it is the price seems to be right. I thought I saw a Quilici game used and his number was on the Knob of the bat in sharpie though.
