I just looked at the all-time leaderboard for home runs... Thome is only behind Sosa 8. That would be cool if he could crank out 9 more to overtake him before he retires, but I doubt it.

Unplugged was a lot of fun and not too many showed. Cuddy said it will be his last for this year but Atteberry said there will be one more in September. If any of you were there I was the one that Got Cuddy a big round of applause. Sure hope he's back next year but it kind of sounded like from him that he'd like to be here but that its not a guarantee. I've heard rumors that Twins already offered him a contract and that he turned it down. Would suck if he wasn't back next year.

I was there, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many annoying drunks there, very disappointed in it.
Cuddy was spot on as usual, total personality.
Kubel was boring and dry.
White was long winded but funny.
The sound in there sucked, the drunks wouldnt stop talking.
And what was with the stupid ass questions people were asking? Dude telling Kubel he would have pulled him from that Yanks game, girl asking if she could have a pic with them, last Q being the same Q as one asked 30 mins prior. Like I said, this one was overall disappointing.

First unplugged I went to was last month at Park Tavern, that one was very good. This one was disappointing in so many ways.
Did you see the guy there with the twin girls that were like 3-4 yrs old?
He had each of the players sign baseballs for him, his wife and his 2 little ones. Yeah, bet you dont see all of those on eBay soon enough. That old guy that was sitting back by the players kinda monitoring things went up to him and was like WTH? They had an auto ticket so there was nothing that he could do. But seriously, 4 Sweet Spotted baseballs of each, pretty obvious what was going to happen. BTW, he was the dumb ass that said to Kubel I would have pulled you from that Yanks game. :benson:

He was my first autograph at a chipotle at the beginning of last year and its been a nice ride ever since. He also said he apprecited what I said while getting his auto. Oh well maybe i'm a sappy fan but he is a good dude and i'm a big fan of his for many reasons.
