Chances Plouffe is the starting shortstop come Opening Day 2012? He's without a doubt better than Nishi, Casilla, Tolbert, Hughes, or any of the options we have now

His bat is nice but his defense still needs A LOT of work. He has plenty of bad throws and brain cramps like what happened today will get him nowhere with Gardy. If he can improve next ST then he might have a shot, but I can see the team giving Nishioka another shot with him getting used to US pitching.

What was his error today? Haven't been watching. As one of the Twins guys said on twitter, Plouffe has 4 XBH this road trip, Nishioka has 5 all season. Plouffe can hit for power and seems to be a good candidate for a long hitting streak, Nishi needs to go back and play winter ball in Japan to get used to hitting again to have a chance

They were just closing when I got there, but stayed open. Figured I'd spend a little and try to get out in adequate time to not be a ******. I think they said 12-4 Sunday and 10-6 Monday - Saturday.
