Haven't followed much of camp out here on east coast. Any surprises? Nishi starting in AAA.
Benson have any shot at starting. 1-5 set yet. Dink heading north. Morneau going to be ready.

Had a few decent maildays the past couple of days. The Etopps is numbered /749 but only 49 or 5 were signed. The Revere Sepia auto is /99, Gold refractor /50, USA auto /360, Mauer is /25, and the encased Revere is a Topps Vault Blank back 1/1. I know its nothing special but its my first 1/1 and a great way to start my Revere collection

Here's something for the detectives:

Would you say this is a Zoilo Versailles autograph on the cover of this program?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-MINNESOTA- ... 4602222d17

It's sideways, so turn your head to look at it. I'm comparing it to the page with the autos on it. It's the flair at the end of the signature that gets it for me. I don't see too many Zoilo autos out there, so I'm jus comfirming.

Hicks going to make the team.
No he won't. He hasnt hit above .279 throughout a full season, and he hasnt even reached AA. This is a Make or Break year for him, if he doesnt do well this year, and with better options developing in the minors they may be forced to move him to pitcher. Hicks had a rough year 2 years ago in Beloit, and everyone said he would bounce back in Fort Myers, and low and behold he did worse in the FSL than he did in the MWL. Hicks through 98 in High School, and has a cannon of an arm so I honnestly wouldnt be surprised to see the Twins give up on him in the outfield, and put him in instructs to become a starter. The twins have a good eye for converting Position players to pitchers, and I think Hicks may be the next.

Does seem the Hicks crowd here has gone silent. Guys like jp here had him ranked as top prospect on farm a couple years running.
I watched him very closely last year. He was hitting .284, thn he went 2 for 44 and was on a bad run and was at .232 at one point.

I would LOVE to pick up that Hicks Super but probably won't have the money for it.. His prices seem to be going down lately but I still have hope for him :) I would be buying it for the PC anyway, not to flip like most prospectors.

At least he is gauranteed 2 more years before getting cut. They can move him to P late this year or next year.
