Not really sure why showoff and jtrinaldi have this evil vendetta against Hicks? Did he not sign 100 cards for you every game at Beloit or something? You two try and make him seem like a horrible person and a terrible player yet every time I have met him he has been really cool and he is still considered a top prospect. Yeah he hasn't lived up to his potential yet but he is still only 22 years old.

I met him a couple times and he was cool. I don't get the hate either honestly.

I bought an auto of his for a crazy low price and I plan to grade it, but it's for the PC.

His base Chrome auto is selling as low as $4 now. Could even drop down in the $2-$3 range soon. Might be time to buy him up.

Nice find on the Super. Wonder if it will hit Ebay. Any guess to what that would sell for. $200-300 ballpark...

It's already up on eBay. Close to $100 already and it was just listed last night. I PM'd the guy who pulled it on Blowout and tried to work something out with him but no luck. His prices have gone down but his higher-end stuff is still selling pretty high for how low his base autos are so I probably won't have a chance for it. I wouldn't pay over $150 for it but I'm guessing you're right that it will end somewhere between $200-$300.

I paid $1.50 for my Hicks auto back when they were selling for $7+

I will be picking up a few more for the PC just in case he gets hot.

I am sending my 8x10 from TwinsFest to the Radke signing in the cities... I wish I could make it but I can't.

Not at all, I dont get cards signed 1.
When he was in Beloit for his first half year he was viewed as a top 15 prospect, and just had some of that 1st round swagger about him, which rubb the other players the wrong way as well. I do not make him out to be a horrible person, I just state what I have noticed about him. When you met him he may have beenin a good mood, but in the 09 Slump he had, he was never happy. He came into arguably the worst MILB city other than Clinton, and he was doing bad. All of that added up to cause the perfect storm. When he was on the road, he had a totally different personality, and his mood changed a lot for the better. Another thing was that there were 5 or 6 dealers who would contantly get 9 cards each, and have family to help them out. He was really hyped up when he first got to Beloit, and when he saw that people were trying to make money off of him that really bothered him. There were a few other instances in Beloit that ticked him off that I don't want to go into. He cam into the MWL overhyped, and he failed to live u to the expectations, he thought that it was going to be easy for him to advance in the MWL because he had such great success in High School and E-Town, and for him to finally experience failure for the 1st time in his career. I breifly spoke to one of his High School coaches in Beloit and he thought that Aaron would have better success as a pitcher, and at the plate he had great vision, he just had a hard time focussing on hitting from both sides of the plate, as well as being able to recognize pitches from different vantage/releas points. With that being said, I have never tried to bash Aaron, I have just pointed out what I noticed at the games and what not. He was the top prospect for the last 2 years,and no all #1 prospects will have greatt success or even reach the majors see Ryan Anderson of the Mariners.

Got this from Steve, the guy who has the set(s) of this. Can't really see how someone could fake the holograms, so I'm glad to have it in the PC. Paid less than my 1990 Donruss Aqueous, and there could be less of these out there. Still gotta find the 89, though.

You couldn't be more wrong. I like him as a person but not as a player.

I got my 8x10 off. It feels good to finally get that thing signed. The only unsigned 8x10 from TwinsFest I have is Stewart. That one might just stay unsigned.

I hate to get off topic here, but if anyone is hitting up Menard's tomorrow for the Nascar signings, I am interested in a promo 8x10 (that they hand out) from each. I would even take an unsigned from each and I can send them TTM.
