I found the other shop (after driving around the block about 3 times :benson:)

Only bought a pack of Platinum football. He had some cool stuff, but some of it was a little too overpriced. He did have some excellently priced vintage though, so I will be sure to keep that in mind.

I'll be stopping at a shop in Brainerd tomorrow (my all-time favorite shop) before heading home.

The Sports Page had packs? It seems every time I was there he didn't have packs. I wonder if he's changed his outlook any from when I talked to him and he would tell me how no one liked hockey up there (for one example).

All there was for packs was a few boxes of football.

He had a couple Crosby signed 8x10s, but I didn't see anything for hockey besides that.

I've only been to Bemidji once before this (usually Walker is as far north as we get), but I got the impression that it is a hockey town.

There was also not a lot of baseball displayed, and very little Twins. Most of the stuff appeared to be behind the counter and I didn't bother taking a look.

The funny thing about the hockey comment was that I believe it happened both in the Wild's first year and in Crosby's rookie year, two years when hockey was hot. I wouldn't touch any autographs there. Years ago, he had Garnett ones that were obviously bad but he insisted they were good and they had COAs for what they were worth. Other stuff he had he would put in the front window and they would fade as did some of the cards in certain front cases. I'm not sure how he's stayed in business.

Any chance anyone knows about Eddie Guardado or Matt Lawton, where they? Maybe we get lucky and they'll be at Twinsfest. Dough Mintkiecwz is expected to become the the Manager of the Grat Lakes Loons.

George - That's the shop I usually go to when I'm down in the Twin Cities. Probably won't be down there until January when Twinsfest is ongoing.

I noticed that the baseball autos that were in cases were pretty badly faded. They were also priced really high.

Are any of you guys in the Roseville, MN area? I could use some assistance if anyone visits "Three Stars Sportscards"

I work in St. Paul and have visited Three Stars enough that they know I collect Jack Morris and Alan Trammell. Shoot me a pm and let me know what you need.

Here's my progress on my Chrome project, along with a Parmelee blue auto and a green Arcia auto. I'm trying to get every parallel of the non autos down to the atomic
