Twins sign Jason Kubel to a minor league deal with an invite to ST. Not a bad move, low-risk/high-reward type. He will also be attending TwinsFest.

i always thought that Hendriks would develop maybe the Twins need to take a look at who is coaching the pitchers to see where the problems are

He never had the best stuff but he succeeded at every level except in the majors. I remember him having some awfully bad luck, including the 1-0 complete game loss against Felix. Don't ever think he'll be much more than a serviceable #4-5 starter but I wish him the best in Chicago!

I'm not a huge fan of paying more than $10 for anything Just Minors related (BGS plates excluded), but I made an exception. It's still a solid deal IMO.
