Today could be ugly. I just hope Breslow is loose because I guarantee he is pitching today. This is also when it is nice to have a rubber armed guy like Dickey around.

Question: If the Twins were forced to use a position player as a pitcher who do you think it would be? I think they go Harris or Tolbert.

Crede comes through again! Bases-loaded single, gives the Twins a 6-5 lead, after trailing 5-0. Verlander had it going today, but the bullpen couldn't hold it for him.

I knew Crede would find it eventually, and Cuddyer has been on a roll too. Add those two righties to Morneau, Mauer, and Kubel (who is currently hitting.333!), and that is a seriously solid middle of the lineup.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm really high on Kubel, and he says his knees are feeling the best they've felt thus far. Clearly they are because this is reminiscent of Minor league Kubel.

Glad to see them above .500 again, hopefully this sweep will garner some more momentum and more consistent play

Kind of a problem when your lefty specialist (Seay) faces 5 lefties and only gets one out.

Delmons mother passed away yesterday. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Young family.

The Twins' inconsistency is killing me. Currently 10-0, Top 6, bases loaded one out. Where some of these hits with runners on for the rest of the trip!?!

It's about time. And Mauer....jeez! He has def. found his power stroke!

Morneau may have his work cut for him to win the team HR crown this year. Seriously.

No joke! I am pretty pumped to see the Twins rake like this, its been awhile.

What the frick! You have a ridiculously overworked bullpen, a 20-0 lead, and a starting pitcher that has thrown 82 pitches through 7, and you lift him!?!

Ridiculous.

Craig - I agree with you. It'd be different if Blackburn was up around 100. The only thing I wonder is if the length of the 6th and 7th innings was cause for concern.

I considered that but he cruised through the bottom of the 6th and 7th, and then the hitters went out really quickly in the 8th.

Now they lost the shutout and the bullpen has given up another run. Unearned though it may be.
