I still haven't heard what they are doing with St. Paul ***** throwbacks they wore in Cleveland earlier this year. Those all back jerseys were pretty cool. I bet Clyde owns a few of red jerseys they wore only once or twice in 1997. I really like the Twins turn ahead clock future jerseys from 1999. I remember seeing pictures of Dougie baseballs at Twinsfest. Steinbauch was on Ebay a couple years ago. Sold for over 500.

Naw, I'm good. You got to see a wild game today! Rausch makes me nervous everytime he enters a game these days. My wife and a girlfriend are going to Tuesday's game.

I was surprised they sent Delaney back down. What happens if we run into another game like the Tigers one? The Fox move wasn't as surprising. We have pretty good depth at SP and he's a 27 year old that made his MLB Debut. I wouldn't be surprised to see him latch on to another team.

In other news did anybody just see that Thome shot? This guy has AMAZING power.

Anyone got confirmation that both Neshek and Perkins have been recalled. I saw on Twins site both being mentioned as possible call ups, now Red Wings brutal season came to an end with 16-1 loss. Gardys kid even pitched in that game. So after one look they just give up on Delaney. Might as well DFA him off 40 man and bring up an OF. Either add Dinkelman or Benson for rest of Sept.

White Sox refuse to lose now. Would be nice to see Tampa or NYY go in the tank and have two central teams make it.

Anyway, back to the drill. Here's my scanned IP collection. The majority of these are from Twinsfest, some have come from lots bought on eBay where I wanted the Gaetti, and got everybody else (like the 83's, and the 88 Joe Niekro) The 73 Carew and the 74 Blyleven came via a friend in Ilinois who had puchased a huge lot of autgoraphs from a collector, and I got a few for my trouble of helping him sort through them. Lots of guys who were here one day, gone tomorrow, but I still like to have a guy sign his card when I can have one. Some guys were getting tough. I mean, there just aren't that many Brian Buscher cards out there (so I'm glad he's not around anymore.)

Too many guys in the minors that will never make it--Matt Moses, anyone?--and some that will probably not come around again or are too hard to get (Santana) Still, got Joe, Torii, and Jacque, so they'll be the cornerstoines of a great, unfinished set.

Nice seeing some of those lesser know guys autos. Niekro's are really cool. Guerrier has sweet looking auto. i tried him ttm a couple years ago and got zip.

I think the weather is supposed to be fine tonight... temp is going to drop to the high 40s, but not awful or anything. Had our power knocked out by wind last night, which does wonderful things for an alarm clock.

It's been cold, gray and drizzly here in Eau Claire all day. The only way it'll improve by game time is to stop the drizzle. It definitely won't get warmer! Layers, baby!
