How many 1/1s does you player have in 2008 sterling?

I noticed the 12th or 13th 1/1 on ebay today and I was wondering what was happening. Went though the checklist and apparently Nolan Ryan has 77 1/1s in this years set alone.

Thats 44% of the total cards in the set. Are we going 1/1 crazy or does this number of 1/1s seem normal?

it's bogus garbage man. Who cares if it's a 1/1 anymore when there are 700 Trillion 1/1's of the same player...this is starting to remind me of the late 80's early 90's...except we are being overrun by "1/1's" instead of 1990 Donruss.

1/1.... as amazing as it seems, has lost all meaning.

O'Neill has around 45! All of these are numbered '1/1' but are merely variations of the same jumbo patch. They are numbered on the back from JS-PO1 to JS-PO44 (and possibly higher). Last I checked, Beckett just lists these as just one card and doesn't bother listing the variations.
