Andre Smith Holds Out to Get Big Check on Injury

Andre Smith is now injured. It's good for him and bad for Cincy that he held out to get that big check that he can sit on. Must be nice to have millions guaranteed when you haven't played in, and won't play in a game for a while.

It will require surgery.

Less than 48 hours after signing his contract, rookie right tackle Andre Smith suffered a fractured foot late in Tuesday's practice and is going to be out of action for what head coach Marvin Lewis called "a few weeks."

If I were the Bengals, I would be investigating this.
If you haven't yet, you guys need to check out Hard Knocks on HBO. They are following the Bengals this year, and most of the team are not fans of this guy to begin with, so I can't wait tot see what these guys say about him now!

Should be interesting. Figure tonights Hardknocks will be about the signing and next weeks about the "foot break" His agent is shady looking and right out of Hollywood when I saw him on the show.
