he was a thug year before last in Augusta. Would not sign for anyone, or come out of the dugout.. He rubbed his teammates and the season ticket holders in Augusta the wrong way.. a real "CLASS" act..

I agree, the guy is a total joke. Even if he is allowed back in the US he is (was) still extremely overrated as a prospect. Most people realized that last year but most on here probably didn't. He's still along ways from the show and if there's one position that's easy to find replacement players, it's first base. No reason to keep him at the expense of others.

Do you realize how smug and arrogant that statement is?

not trying to be smug and arrogant but it's probably true. Sorry if it came across that way. Guys with his cards over value his prospect status, so I guess that might not be most. His star had faded significantly even before his arrest.

Maybe my memory is fuzzy, but I don't ever remember him being in the top prospect discussion around here. He was always a guy that could develop into something, but no one ever put him in their top 10 that I know of.

Are you kidding me? He was nothing like that in San Jose. Shy and quiet because of his English skill is how I would describe him, but I'm not an auto hound who he didn't sign for which may be why I view him differently.

Did you meet him Chris?

He was really nice to me. He seemed shy, but he signed my ball for me.

Yes. He wasn't the most outgoing player on the team but he usually had a smile on his face and would talk with me.
