i am not sure what to say. if he puts up numbers remotely close to what he did in 2009, i will be happy but i am curious to see how he fares away from dave duncan. personally, i would have rather taken a flyer on sheets but pineiro is at least a step up over SOS and matt palmer. the good thing about this deal is the halos won't be pressured to rush reckling.

good for him, 2 years to!

Similar to the Marquis deal,

Luckily for the Angels, i think he is MUCH better than Marquis.

As a Cubs fan, I have seen plenty of both of them.

Good the Mets can lose 90 games again. I hate the Mutts so much.

Yeah now what are the Mets going to do lol?

The Bay signing isn't going to be enough, especially with Beltran injured again and many players coming off injury/surgery.

Sign Delgado?

Ben Sheets is either licking his chops right now or is super-confused.
Probably not licking his chops. Everyone has a red flag when looking at Sheets (obviously high risk high reward). He should be a 1 yr 5mill or something roughly around that.

When the Diamondbacks think he is too much of an injury risk to consider him, you know there is some problems

(although he will probably win 20 games and they didnt sign him :? )

Me and you have a side bet. I say he gets significantly more than that. I am not saying that's a wise move either. And remember my screen name! :)

Teams are starting to get pitching-desperate. And more so now that Pineiro is off the market.

We'll see what he gets lol.

Who does he go to though? Cardinals, Mets, Dodgers, Brewers, Mariners (Idk they just seem active haha) or Cubs?

In watching the video of Sheets working out the other day, it struck me, he looks exactly the same. And that is a BAD thing. The issues with his delivery ar still the same issues he had previously. I would have thought that he would have made some tweaks to try and avoid injury. I guess not

I like it for the Angels.

I'm guessing 13-9, 4.10 ERA.

What will he do without Dave Duncan? StL has let several pitchers go and the following year they did not post the same numbers. Good for Pineiro though and hope it works for LAA.

Sign Delgado?

The Mets are a mess. The really need a new GM. Minaya is either really confused or simply acting as the puppet from the confused Wilpons'.
