This totally sucks!!

Ank and Yadi are my two favorite Cardinals.

After everything the Cardinals have been through with Ank, it SUCKS that he's gone!!

I HATE this!

But he wanted an everyday starting job, so hello Kansas City and 3.25 million or so.


I've said it for a long time, if the day Ank was no longer a Cardinal, I'd still rock my #24 jersey at Busch. STILL want a #66 jersey too.


I have a fairly large collection of mini helemts and auto'd and game used cards of Ank that I'll always keep.

Sam - Sorry about Ankiel. But it's cool that even though he's no longer on your squad, that he'll still be a favorite of your PC. Very similar to me with Jack Morris. Sucked that he left for the Twins in '91 as the Tigers were my team growing up and he and Trammell were my favorites.

After a quick look at the Cardinals 10 schedule, it looks like Kansas City doesn't even come to St. Louis for Interleague this year. Which sucks. They usually do two or so times a season.

If you want to see Ankiel, go to KC for the Cards series. I went last year and had a great time. The stadium is really improved and there are a ton of Cards fans there.
