I've always loved how FOX has televised any sporting event, but absolutely hated last night when they out of nowhere (they haven't been doing this at all before) they showed live action from behind home plate. It adds nothing to the telecast, and I hate not seeing the pitch location/swing from the traditional camera angle. You've smoked the other networks all year with your coverage, no need to fix something that's not broken.

On another note, it was pretty neat they broke out the infrared camera on replays. Also dig the theme music that they use for the NFL telecasts when they go to break.

I noticed the camera angle, but I didn't really think much of it. I thought it was rather strange to see the net in the picture though. I did find the addition of the infrared to be neat, but I didn't really think it added any real value to the experience. I'm not really a fan of Fox.

When I'm watching live action I don't want the camera angle behind home plate during the pitch!I want to see where the pitch is thrown!I thought the infrared camera did come in handy when Beltre hit the ball off his foot.I'd rather watch on FOX anyday than be stuck with TBS or NBC or whomever used to show MLB.
