Has anyone else noticed that some of the cards in the set have pink highlighting on the blue text on the back of the card, while others have just plain blue text?

Now that is approaching the most obscure of the obscure card variations. But at this point, when 80's and 90's cards have now been examined under so many microscopes, what is there left to find? It's just a printing imperfection, but honestly at this point I'm so starved for 90's pickups I might just snag them :)

I had that variation on my Puckett want list forever and had been searching for one as a result. I finally found one earlier this year. It was rather difficult for me to actually find the card. The pink highlighting is way more common based on all the searching for the non-pink Puckett I did.

Here’s the backs of the 4 Puckett versions I have. Standard pink highlight top left, standard non-pink top right, silver edge has pink highlights bottom left and the International version also has pink highlights as well on bottom right. I’m not sure if there’s a non-pink silver edge or international out in the wild, those were never on my want list. I’d imagine it’s entirely possible if it’s a printers defect though. The non-pink really stands out from the pink versions though, the text and backs just look much sharper and cleaner IMO.

I am seeing pink on all of the other versions as well, including the squares from the sheet.

I thought the pink shaded were more numerous than the blues when I looked on COMC. The Clemens does not seem to have many pinks, though there could be some with very light pink shading.

Is this true for all cards in the set? I'm not sure if I have a Darryl Strawberry one?

Never seen a square 1991. Its the only year I'm also missing.

Do you know if the 1992 twins set has square cut cards?
All of the playing cards had to be on a sheet one time or another, it is just if the sheets come onto the market or if there are even any uncut versions still around.

Hey Tim! Do you have any in your inventory

I think Strawberry is in the 1990, not the 1991. I have not seen any variations in the 1990 except the square cut and the silver. The Canadian version of the 1990 set has French writing on the box, but the individual cards are exactly the same as the US version.
