For those of you interested, there is another 1952 Topps Wrapper that the guy is selling..

For those of you that remember my previous post, a customer of the card shop I go to brought in another of the wrappers that was found wrapped around some cards at a estate sale.. he got these for $1 each..

Since he is a young kid, the shop owner said he would sell it for him.. They are truly an amazing piece of history..

Here's the link..

I have a few rows of a 5000 count box stuffed with wrappers from the 90's and early 00's... hoping a few of them emerge as "must-own" items down the road! Perhaps 2001 Bowman Chrome?

I remember when I started to collect, that sellers had empty boxes and wrappers at shows for cheap.. I always thought that if you were putting a set together, that you could get a wrapper and put it with the cards as well..

Yeah I had a really wealthy neighbor when I was growing up who would literally crack around 200 packs/week on average, if not more... it was out of control. Finally one day, I figured instead of tossing it I might as well hold onto it; you can fit thousands in a single row of a 5000 count box so I said what the hell, it's worth the small space it takes up. We'll see if it pays off some day!
