I state in my auctions that I only ship to USA and Canada, but sometimes other international buyers message me wondering if I will ship to them and how much extra I would need for shipping. If they are willing to pay extra for shipping, and I know I can safely ship to them, I have no problem doing it.

So can anyone tell me if there is a safe way to ship a card to Japan? It is probably about a 15-30 dollar card so it's not enormous, but it's also not nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

By "safe" do you mean so it won't get damaged or so you can't get a fraudulent PayPal chargeback?

Being overseas myself, I've had to sign for packages in certain cases. I believe you can send with DC which includes insurance. (to Europe it's possible) I'm not sure about Japan but it may exist as well.

Good luck. I'm sure something exists as long as the buyer is willing to pay.

Do a FCB search for "ship japan"

I did this myself earlier bc I am selling a Fukudome card, and wanted to open up the market a bit.

You have absolutely zero protection from eBay or PayPal when selling to Japan.

Which is hilarious since eBay encourages you to offer intl shipping to increase your sales.
