That was the first high-end insert set I ever completed. Still a benchmark, as far as I'm concerned. Congratulations. How hard was it to find the Jackson variations?

It was a fun set to put together, for sure.
The Jackson variations were the toughest, no doubt.
Beckett only listed the regular auto and the silver pen auto.
I found the regular auto with the "44" inscription and decided that would be a cool add to the set.
Then I found another variation to the silver pen auto. There was one listed a couple of weeks ago with the "9" inscription.
I was all set to bid when the BIN was hit. :x

That is a very cool set and scans will never do it justice. The silver Reggie auto is pretty amazing!

I thought about putting this set together but did not like the two players that signed the back of their cards. I put together the 1998 donruss significant signature set instead. I like the fact that the player selection was similar and koufax and ryan were in 1998 too.
