ANOTHER PATCH FAKER CAUGHT. ALONG WITH HIS ALIAS I.D. TO BUY

so its slow at work today.. figured i would see if i could expose someone else. seems like it worked out.

after about an hour trying to find someone that left this d-bag feedback for a card he bought with his alias i finally found one.

The fact that this is already up to $31 proves there are too many stupid people out there with too much money.

Pretty much everything he has listed is fake, and with cards like this, he has to be pulling them apart to put the patches in.

THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS IS PANINI. (sorry for caps) you can send a card to them and they can tell if its altered because they have kodak's logo all over there jerseys. im sure its just a blacklight that they use. and they also charge 10 bucks.

upper deck was going to put an exploding ink pack under patches about 5 years ago but chris carlin said that would cost to much. i guess they just stopp caring..
im also not even sure if that would work. this guy isnt just swaping a patch, he is cutting the card open to do it, thats the only way he is getting in the window on a triple threads card



i should buy some of his tickets, take my lady out for the night, have a wonderful time, and come home and say the tickets were fake like his patches

Youre right, Panini actually cares about doing something about this and thats a big step but how hard would it be to put a small photo on the back of each card showing its original patches?

Yeah that would work but like you said people still find a way to put fake patches in those cards too

I agree with cgilmo and others ... just scan/photograph the cards and place the pictures on a secure site for anyone to see. Would be impressive if the original uniform or article were pictured alongside the cards beore it was cut up.

no. not really, i poseted about another dbag yesterday. he is 100% scum. i called ebay with a ton of proof and they said that i had no proof

i saw an article about this a few years back. they use a heat gun. or a microwave. it heats the glue the company uses to make it soft and easier to slip with a razor

so pretty much it seems like if the card looks too cool to be true it prob is, 4-5 color patches and or logos. Its just sucks that a couple people have to ruin it for all the rest.
