Why on Earth would the players fly there for the game early Sunday, leave Sunday night, and then fly back on Monday??? Sounds retarded to me, why wouldn't they just stay in Miami???

That does seem pretty dumb. If they're actually doing that I have a feeling it's simply to make a mockery of the whole process and situation, as I heard both organizations were adament about the players not going. Guess in some weird way this proves how "important" it is to travel with the team, by making them come all the way back to do that.

They did say today though that it is sold out, and I dont think that was usually the case in Hawaii...so I guess that may be the lone positive. I also find it funny, because I think most years people (myself included) often forget the game is being played once the Super Bowl is over.....I think this year there's a lot more attention on the games shortcomings because of the date change.

It looks now like the Colts are letting their guys just stay in Miami and wait for the team flight, instead of making them come back and fly back the next day. Bill Polian, the Colts legendary GM, even called the whole thing "stupid".

Who do yall think is gonna win the Pro Bowl?

Vegas has it like this..

NFC -3
AFC +3

I kinda like the look of the AFC team. The offenses match up pretty even ,but the AFC D looks much better.

I dunno. It's kind of a crapshoot in a game like this, but I'd go NFC.
I guess I think of it like an exhibition game and it's always best to go with the team with the best QB depth chart.
I think Chris Johnson could be the MVP, but I can;t bring myself to pick an all-star team that is going to be relying on David Garrard at Qb,

Is Schaub not starting for the AFC?

Everyone that's voted to the Pro Bowl should be forced to make media appearances.

The one's that say, "I can't play, I'm a huge baby" should also have to talk to the media and stay for the whole game.

The NFL is smart getting all those guys down there the week before the superbowl, as it builds hype.

If you want your Pro Bowl cash-money, you'll have to sit around for 6 hours. Seems fair. Not just the game check either, Bonuses too!

These players think they're just being played to practice and play the games, but they're getting paid for their image too..

No Schaub is starting. He should do well too with Johnson. It's just the Young/Garrard combo in the middle. I'm a VY fan, and he may do well with his athleticism.....but I still like Rodgers/McNabb/Romo over that group in terms of making plays and leading scoring drives.

No one may agree with this idea, but I think I honestly wouldn't mind a whole bunch of "skills competition" things over the pro bowl the week before the Super Bowl. Have the All-Pro's come, honor them. Have a QB challenge. One of those obstacle courses. It'd be awesome if you can get something like a Hester/Desean/C.Johnson race....or even do like a relay race with a teams WR corp, etc. Like I said, that could just be just me, and hopefully if you offered some cash prizes players would compete....but to me that would be just as fun to watch, if not more so then the Pro Bowl.
