that guy is smart, to bad he piced the wrong set, just goes to show you nothing is garnteed legit without photo proff from the componies.


and i dont like seeing caps cards faked

Sadly, BGS really had no way to determine whether the card was faked or not. They don't grade the patches, and have no way to tell whether the patches on the card are legit or not.

Yep, they just grade the card in 5 seconds.

While that is true, if BGS does notice counterfeiting/questionable patch on a card, they will not encapsulate it. Obviously though, some of these patch fakers are so good, they are leaving no noticable evidence in their "work".

Really?


Ive heard 30 seconds to 1 minute per card. Obviously though on higher end/big money vintage cards, they make take longer and more than one grader will look at the card.

That or if their is noticable damage around the patch window. The case with this Nick Backstrom card though, it would be very unfair to put blame on BGS for encapsulating this card. The patch looks perfect in there and if these guys are doing their craft so well and leaving no damage/Evidence, there is really nothing BGS could do, but grade the card.
