Got offered this card for a more than reasonable price. Any chance it's real? Looks a little off to me but I'm not familiar with his older autos. If its real, it appears rushed. Any opinions?

It looks like a case where the card is in rough shape and less valuable so may as well forge it and try to pass it off as real. Id stay far away

I wouldn't think so bud and if you got a good price then it's most likely fake

It just looks rushed to me. If the ink looks smooth then I'd say try to knock some more off the price to cover the cost of authenticating.

Do you know off the top of your head how much PSA/DNA charges? I was thinking it was around $75.

The card is in rough shape... Does it look like the auto is before it started getting beat up or does the auto look like its on top of the roughness

It has it positives along with negatives. None really out weigh the other. With that said I almost positive I have seen this card before and it was removed from ebay a while back. The reason i remember it is it looks like Mantle was possibly walking when he was handed this card to sign, if he signed it at all it is.

I agree it looks 'not that bad' but even spot on Mantle auto's have an above average chance of being faked. Thus I see no reason to even consider a 'not that bad' offering..
