Actually, my mentality on leaving neutral feedback to something "not related to what I purchased" is the exact same as them sending something along "not related to what I purchased."

As far as "punishing people for their beliefs"...I could care less if someone is worshiping a one-eyed pigmy goat...I just don't want to hear how it will "save my soul." People can do whatever they want in their own homes, but once they wear their religious beliefs on their sleeves...it's all fair game.

Sounds like a pretty angry way of looking at it. Them doing that doesn't affect you in the least, while leaving them negative feedback, punishing them, hurts them. Like I said, all you have to do is throw it away with the other garbage. You are trying to hurt them by leaving them neutral feedback when they're intent was to do good. There is no reason for it. Religion makes some people happy, no matter how far fetched it is.
I don't find it angry at all, obviously.

To me, if someone wants to come off "holier than thou" and preaching from a street corner or bubble mailer, I believe that they are giving me the same forum to express my opinion on their beliefs.

Again, once they open that door, it's my duty as a cynic to slam their fingers in it

No anger, no hatred...and who knows, maybe they can pray away the feedback.

To hurt someone who's intent is to enlighten, no matter how that is, is simply anger. If someone from this board sends you a free card for a set out of kindness, will you "slam their fingers" in the door that they opened.

Leaving neutral feedback for that crap is ridiculous, and I'd be really freakin' cheesed.

You know what really sucks? Getting Junk Mail.
You know what I do with the Walmart Flyers? I recycle them!
You know what I don't do? Call up the postal service and flyer delivery service and bitch and moan about the junkmail and how my mailman brutally ignores the "NO JUNK MAIL" sign.

Wanna know why? Cause it's a bitchass move.

If you're leaving neutral feedback because you're getting something that takes .5 seconds to recycle with the mailer, you need to chill the eff out.

Yeah, I just bought 500 from VistaPrint for like $11.

Nice, I am glad this post helped someone! I have bought from them twice. They are continually sending me that same offer, which, is tough to beat honestly.

I believe you are an idiot. By leaving the unwarranted neutral you have mistreated someone based on their religious beliefs, which is the exact definition of persecution.

I feel sorry for anyone that has to make posts like you've made it this thread, but it is par for the course when it comes to you.

I'd hate to see what he does to someone who says Merry Christmas, a religious holiday. Would he punch them in the face?

It makes me think about all the negative experience eBay threads and all the block bidder this, avoid seller this....and here, we have a mod that admits to persecuting Christians for including a simple message that could be discarded just as easy as the envelope itself.

sad....

You've always had a flair for the dramatic and just love the victim role.

By leaving a neutral for people sending me religious documents (notice I never once said what religion, or what faction), I'm now pegged as "persecuting Christians."

Awesome!

By the way, "Merry Christmas" doesn't bother me in the slightest. Of course if someone said, "Merry Christmas, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?" I'd have a little fun.

No, I just usually call people out if they are being stupid/ignorant.

You pegged yourself. It doesn't matter what religion it is. Your behavior is pathetic and does 0 good for anyone.

What is this, Fox News?

Direct quote from you describing me, "we have a mod that admits to persecuting Christians" and yet never did I say (nor imply) that any neutrals were related to Christianity, nor would any rational human consider a neutral as "persecuting."

I get it, we don't get along, and I'm fine with that...but at least be truthful.

You are laughable...

I didn't mention Christianity until sportscardtheory mentioned Christmas. But I will say that I've never received a single piece of literature from another religion other than Christianity. You went on to affirm my comment by poking at someone asking you if you've accepted Jesus Christ.

What purpose does it serve for you to treat others poorly simply because you do not agree with them? Are you one of those kids that has to make others feel bad so you feel better? Need attention? Daddy issues?

I spend time with respectful human beings, so you'll have to explain your reasoning?

Clearly he has issues and most likely will never accept that fact. Hurting someone, even in the smallest of ways, simply because of their beliefs, is and always will be pathetic. Hurting someone that did no wrong to you, is and always will be pathetic. It's an argument he simply can't win.

NOTE: My last comment in this thread about the issue.

How fragile of a world do we live in that a neutral on eBay is considered "hurting someone"?

And do I have issues with all religions? Absolutely.

It's the thought process behind it that bothers me. It's baseless lashing out. It's hateful. Like I said, I'm in no way shape or form religious, but basic human decency would never allow me to do something like that.
