SAW THIS ON BECKETT...FRIEND WOULD GO TO THESE EVERY YEAR , HIS WIFE IS LAPD AND THEY HAD THEM AS SECURITY AND HE WOULD BRING BACK A LOT OF GOOD STUFF...

One of the biggest weekends of the 2010 football card season will kick off early Friday afternoon at the Walmart Supercenter on Rose Avenue in Oxnard, Calif. From 1 to 3 p.m. PST, at least 15 of the 35 rookies in town for Saturday’s NFL Players Rookie Premiere will mosey on over to Walmart to join Panini America and NFL Players in interacting with customers, engaging in pack wars, signing autographs and generally generating awareness of football cards.

The current list of attendees — although subject to change — is headlined by Colt McCoy, Golden Tate, Ryan Mathews, Joe McKnight, Eric Berry, Toby Gerhart, Gerald McCoy, Eric Decker, Jermaine Gresham and Jordan Shipley.

I think this event was handled terribly. Bad place, bad time, bad list of players. There used to be all sorts of little awesome events IN los angeles, but this year there wont be. Last year it was Beanie and Hakeem Nicks for free in Beverly Hills and Culver City, year before that it was Desean Jackson and Kevin Oconnell. Not happening this year because of stuff like this.

There is an event on Sunday that some of the players should be at, but no confirmations yet. Im debating what I am going to do because I know where everyone will be at every moment this weekend.

HE WOULD LAUGH CAUSE THEY PUT HIM IN CHARGE OF HANDING THE PLAYERS A FOOTBALL..SHOES...JERSEY ETC AND THEY WOULD BE LABELED "EVEN USED"... :lol: :lol: :lol:

MOST OF THE GUYS WHERE COOL...HE WOULD COME HOME WITH A LOT OF SIGNED GOODIES FOR HIS HOME OFFICE...
