I should have a chance to go to some games this summer, but not knowing the prospects as well as some of you, I don't know who I should be keeping an eye on. Anyone recognize any names here as guys that could possibly play in the big leagues some day?

Woodchucks have prospects?

I always thought of that team as a player that couldn't make college or even a low A team. The lowest of the low. In fact, I think they might be lower.

I do think there were a few exceptions however. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do think there are a few retired baseball players that started out with the Woodchucks eons ago.

Hey now Ryan Ben Zobrist, Pat Neshek and Pat Venditte all played for the Woodchucks! ;)

Also along with Zobrist, Justin Berg, Casey Janssen, and Mark Lowe are all former Woodchucks who are currently in the Majors.

As for this year the only guys on the team that I really have ever heard of are, Chris Amezquita and Scott Schauer.

If you ever want to go to a game Eric let me know and we can meet up at one.

That'd be fun. I should be able to get some free tickets through work also (not that they'll cost much anyway). Seen my new commercial with Quirt yet?

Pretty much every business has free Woodchucks tickets so if you want free tickets they are not hard to find.

It's too bad Jim Gantner is no longer their manger, when he was the manger (2006-2008) he always had a former player come and throw out the first pitch and sign autographs for everyone. He had Johnny Logan, Gorman Thomas and Robin Yount all come and it was pretty cool. Since he is no longer the manager they don't (or haven't yet) have any former players come. Last year they had William Hung ::facepalm::

I can't remember if I have seen your commercial yet but I have definitely heard it on the radio, it's so catchy..."Where did you get that smile? At Quirt Family Dental"
