Any Indy 500 Fans?

Just curious if there are any fans of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing in the football boards. I am heading to the track for Carb Day on Friday and have been to the IMS multiple times this month.

As long as Ganassi or Penske doesn't win, I am a happy camper!

Its one of only 2 races I can watch a year. Daytona 500 being the other.

Id love to see Danica win... but hopefully she has a nice race and finishes in the top 5.

Dario Franchitti wouldnt be a bad choice either for a 3rd title..... anytime you get this in victory circle how can it be a bad thing.

I used to spend the month of may in Indy, there were tons of activities. Saw my 1st 500 race live in the early 80's. The 500 is about the only one I still watch, things haven't been the same since they tried splitting into 2 groups a few years back & they keep messing with traditions such as the the way they used to do qualifing.

To the OP -

If I sent you some Pay-Pal would you be able to pick up a Program & a couple of Event pins for me? This being the 100th anniversary I'd love to add that pin to my collection. I'm guessing they will do 2 or 3 different pins this year.

Here's a few of my race event pins I've picked up over the years at the races I've attended. The one that on the card is a Pit Pass pin on a Pit Pass badge. The auto on the side is an IP from Tom Carney who used to call the races, I recently heard the he passed away this past year. One day I'll put up other IP's I've been able to get over the years.
