For the past 5 years my buddies and I go on a yearly trip to watch our White Sox play at a different city/stadium. Next weekend we are going to DC to watch the Sox play the Nats. I was wondering if there are any LCS in the DC metro area. We are staying close to the stadium. Any help would be great.
Thanks

You can hop on the red line metro and shoot up to Silver Springs, MD for this place. The shop is owned by the same people that own Huggins and Scott Auctions.

If you're into vintage, take a ride over to McLean and go to the place at this address. 6819 Elm Street, McLean VA 22101. Phone number is 703-752-2255. Keep in mind that on the weekend, they are only open 12-5 (Maybe 7?) on Saturday and closed on Sunday. Also to note, this place in McLean is HEAVILY stocked with vintage and modern is NOT their focus. They do have a few here and there with some packs to buy as well but it's primarily vintage from pre-war all the way on up. LOTS of HOFers as well, not junk.

Edited to add: If you're into good sports bars/pubs, go to this place in Arlington. Blue/Yellow line metro stop at Crystal City will get you there.

The Nats have been known to stop by once in awhile after a game.

You're from Alexandria? I stayed there a couple weeks ago while deciding whether or not to accept a job offer in DC. Nice place. I wish I had've talked to you before I went so i wouldn't have been going down there completely in the dark. Imagine my pain trying to figure out the metro by myself, fresh off the plane from small town Arkansas. I have major respect for you DC/Metro area folk after that.

I used to live just outside of DC. Moving out of there was the best thing I ever did.
Anyway, There's a shop in Beltsville, called J&K Sportscards that was pretty decent. You'll need a car to get there though.
Have a good trip!

Does Blowout Cards have a store front? They're out in that neck of the woods, I believe. Don't think they're accessible via Metro, though.

Unfortunately, no. I wish they did.

Also used to live in the Northern VA area, and also, like you, ended up in southern CA. Best decision I ever made.
