Any updates or was that memo just trash? Seems if the story was legit more news would have broke.

Not a single thing.

A very well-respected "insider" promised to write up his version of it after telling me it was legit.

He has since vanished.

I think no news simply means no news.

Clearly the memo was either not legit, or not supposed to get out. Silence to me implies that it was not supposed to get out, and not that it was fraudulent. The fact remains that there is a lot of uncertainty within the baseball card sector...and Upper Deck is at the heart of it.

There are rumors running all around about Upper Deck and potential bankruptcy, not paying bills, redemption replacement problems, potentially losing their baseball license, etc...but until anything is made public...it's all just a guess.

In regards to Razor, we already know that MLBP doesn't like Razor and their exclusive contracts, directly from Brian's mouth (or keys), so any relation (or perceived relation) by Upper Deck with an unlicensed company clearly won't sit well with MLBP.

Razor is still moving forward at this point...and that's the highlight of a story with a lot of potential low-lights.
