Any reason Nick Barnese is so cheap?

His stuff is extremely cheap compared to what it's sold for in the past, yet his numbers are still improving... anyone have an explanation?

Current year: 36.1IP 30H 14ER 1HR 4BB 32SO... 3.47 ERA with a 3-1 record. K-BB ratio is really impressive.

This may be a large reason why but I still don't believe that justifies how low his prices currently are. I've picked up my last five Blue Refractors of his for under $10 and my last three Blue Ref BGS9.5s for under $17.

At those prices, I think he's well worth the associated risks.

Agreed at those prices might as well, but while blocked by all the pitchers in the rotation and other top prospects in that system, he may be trade bait (maybe then he'll get some exposure and prospectors can cash in).
