I'm going to be having a jersey signed next weekend and I wanted opinions on what is the best way to get a nice clean signature and what pen/sharpie to use. I once witnessed a guy that had his jersey on a clip board and it was pulled so tight I thought it was going to tear. I didn't see what the signature looked like once he got it but he must have known something I don't.

I'd love to see examples of some you guys have had signed.

If you're player can sign on the number it's much better. My Eric Davis came out great on the 4.

The Barry Larkin I had signed at Redsfest is a little weak where he had to sign on the actual jersey rather than a number (where there wasn't enough room on the 1).
