going to pre-order the baseball america 2009 prospect handbook and need to get an order over $25 for the free shipping. i don't need it right away so i can wait till the feb 10 ship date to save almost half off what BA is wanting for it.

that being said, anybody have a suggestion on a good baseball read they can suggest that i can add to my order?

thanks for any responses.

Painting the Black - Carl Deuker

Suspense story that not only is about baseball, but it shows into the kids personal life too. Lots of action, definite page turner. Very tense.....almost like a movie.

I got a couple of sports bios for Christmas. I'm reading "Johnny U" right now but next up will be "Luckiest Man," the Lou Gehrig book. I've thumbed through it a bit and it looks like it'll be a good read.
