Any tips for Ebay serches?

Easier to help if we know what you are actually after. I'd cast a wide net, if I'm looking for something real specific say Tim Wakefield 1993 Finest refractor I'd try it like that first then maybe different versions of that, omit refractor, see if some are not listed correctly. I also drop first names sometimes or search for "lot" or "set" where specific players may not be named.

Also, depending on common mistakes you may see search for typos. I occasionally search Tom Wakefield, when of course it's Tim. Roy Halladay...Ray etc...

use something like FatFingers to find misspelled items that nobody can bid on (because they cant see them)

I like the "or" searches (1998, 98, 1999, 99). If anything in the parentheses is in the title it will show up.

Fatfingers is good when I know what i want, especially hard names like Vlad Jr. and Andrew Benintendi

Make sure also the search titles AND descriptions. Sometimes sellers list the cards contained in a lot they're selling.
