In not trading Clay Buchholz at the deadline? He just looks terrible... Again.
I'm pulling for him but I just don't know if he's got a future with the Sox.

Not really, because they really didnt have a snowballs chance in hell to really get Halladay anyway. But I do think he will be tradebait this offseason for someone.

Not at all..I still have VERY high expectations for him. Halladay has been far from stellar since the deadline, as well.

At this point I would have rather seen them trade Buchholz for Martinez. I still dont think Masterson should have been traded. Hagadone might end up being a decent starter as well. Bryan Price...meh.

Buchholz has had a few bad games, but he had been flat out nasty the last three games as well. It's hard to argue against any of his last 3 appearances other than this game. Let's not go all WEEI listeners here.

GO RANGERS

EWWW...
It's about time the Saux and Angels start losing, especially the Angels seems like they haven't lost since the start of July.

The Sox have not been good as of late, but they should do pretty well against the White Sox and Jays at home with the pitching matchups they have coming up..

That's what I say about the Rangers and they go 1-6, pisses me off.

I don't think Cleveland wanted him without coming out and directly saying it I think Cleveland pretty much made it clear they got the pitchers they wanted from Boston.

I'm not going to say it's a "big mistake" yet......but at this point I seriously have to question if Clay is ever going to be more than a serviceable big league pitcher, the sad thing is it seems to be more a charachter/mental thing (so maybe that can change)

But seriously if there was no such thing as prospect sites and sheets, and if he wasn't labeled a #1/can't miss prospect, would you really think he was going to be a future ace based on his major league performances over the past couple years?

On a side note (and i know circumstances and situations would be different and potentially change things) Halladay hasn't exactly been great this month....so what if that was the case and Theo made the deal? People would be saying that was a mistake, so really it's always a no win situation.

I think Buchholz will be among the elite tier of pitchers in the league within 3 years.
Thats what they said about Todd Van Poppel.

Because Todd Van Poppel has so much to do with Clay Buchholz ::facepalm:: Sometimes big name prospect pitchers do turn out well...

It is early to tell, but Buchholtz isn't that bad. Halladay gets no offensive support whatsoever. If Roy was on a team that actually scored his recoed would look way better than it does now. There should be no excuse for Clay.
