That is what I have heard, but there are supposed to be redemptions for this years class, and next years class in the final two products of the season. Also, no national treasures this year.

Basically, the only products where you will find rookies will be the upper deck products, so buy what you can while you can.

I think they announced that the first three products have no rookies and products 4&5 have redemptions for 2012-2013 versions...

They are trying to preserve rookie card status since they are doing 5 releases... STUPID STUPID STUPID...

People will just buy UD stuff more now.. BG

I don't get it? Their trying to have this years draft class and next years draft class count as rookies next year?

I think Panini does not know how to make a products correctly. I don't bust much of there stuff for the lack of hits.
I like building sets, but I would like some bang in the gang if you know what I mean. :D

Wow this makes such little sense to me.

They hold back on the products - then they are going to release them without rookies?

The value on any of these products is primarily the rookies or the huge hit legends (and Panini doesn't have Jordan and Lebron for that).
Maybe a good thing this doesn't look to be a super rookie class.......but if a superstar does emerge prices are going to be crazy with the limited amount of cards now.

I guess the only good thing could be if Panini loads the hits with star and legend auto's......that could be more fun/profitable than the typical rookies you'd hit. The only problem - I don't really expect that to happen. It's far more likely they sticker dump last year's rookies and guys that probably shouldn't even be in a product to make up for the hits needed.

No big deal to me since I know longer buy any Panini products due to them not return any of my emails on an outstanding redemptions. Very poor customer service

But Panini has Kobe and Durant among others which helps
