How's your team doing after the first week? :D
not very well. my goalies suck

Ouch bud. That's one of my stronger cases.. goaltending.

League 1
Fleury (2 wins)
Voukoun (1 win)
Bryzgalov (----)

I really wish I had started Bryz over Voukoun yesterday.. Voukoun was on the losing end of a 4-0 game and Bryz won.

League 2
Price (2 wins)
Thomas (1 win)
Theodore (1 win)

I put Theo in over Thomas for opening night at the last minute and was really glad I did so.

Jonathan Toews
Travis Zajac
Alexander Ovechkin
Scott Hartnell
Alexander Semin
Ales Hemsky
Jason Arnott
Dion Phaneuf
Rob Blake
Bryan McCabe
Zach Bogosian
Scott Gomez
Andrei Markov
Brooks Laich (dropped Horcoff for Laich)

Steve Mason
Pascal Leclaire
Craig Anderson (dropped Cole for Anderson)
Jonas Hiller

I hope Markov is placed on the IR soon so I can fill that spot. I really don't want to drop him at this point because I think someone in my league might pick him up. I am a little worried about my goalie situation other than that I feel pretty good. I was also happy that I won the draft lottery. :D :D Right now I am losing 9-6.

^^ that's a pretty solid team.

Right now.. up 14-3 in one league. I dropped Vokoun because he's been TERRIBLE thus far. Picked up Craig Anderson from the Avs.

In the other league, not doing so hot. After a solid first few days of the season, I've dropped down to 7th/10 and 16 points behind first. ::facepalm::

I am in the most complex and massive keeper league I have ever seen. I got into it last year. The league has been going on for 26 straight years with over 50% of the owners as originals. I bought my team from a guy last year so needless to say it is struggling. There are 30 team owners, it's a $300/year league fees with $100 donation also to the stats man. The league rotates the stat guy and we use www.fantrax.com to maintain the league. It's a salary cap league. Teams must field 12 forwards, 6 defense and 2 goalies per week. Your bench can be as big as your cap allows. We also have a rookie draft so until players meet rookie requirements or reach 25 you can keep them on minor league contracts. Free agent players are bid on by a live auction during the annual draft. We have a local radio celebrity run the auction and he also fields a team. At the all-star break the league splits into an A and B side with the top 2 from the B side having the option to flip with the bottom 2 from the A side. Prizes are better in the A side, but there is the option to try to win out the B to still get money. With A side winner getting $5K it becomes exciting.

I am having the time of my life with it compared to any other fantasy hockey. I love the idea of working it with a cap, contract amounts and terms and the live draft we do. The draft this year took from 5pm to 2am but it was an absolute blast. The league owners meet every Thursday night for beers and it becomes a giant smack/trade negotiation session.

Finished 9th/10 in one league, and first in the other with a record of 15-3-1.
