Anyone ever had a break like I had with A&G?

This might be a stupid question b/c I don't know if it's been released yet, but that sounds like a retail case. Could that have been the scenario?

The case I received from Blowout was a pre-sale. Paid $1140, so it had better not had been a retail case. I almost got trapped buying retail on Ebay when the boxes were going for $56 per box. That really doesn't seem that bad of a price since the odds are the same as hobby, except only 1 relic or auto. But it sure seems odd.

Yeah I thought the odds of it being retail were slim. If you got it from blowout, then it's hobby.

It states the odds on the back of the wrapper. Framed Auto's 1/40pks, Framed Relics, 1/11 pks.
The sell sheet stated that each box would have 3 pieces, either framed relic, framed auto, rip card.

The back of the packs and back of the box is all that matters.

However, if the OP is anything like me, he was most pissed off about the Base Set.

There's absolutely NO REASON IN HELL, you should buy a case and not complete the base set.

For me, it wasn't even the SP, it was literally the BASE SET.

They did absolutely nothing for me.

One full case, plus 4 boxes I got from my lcs. Still can't make a master set. I'm short 2 schetch cards, #6 & 7.

Since I'm new to this board, and never traded on that T**** board, I would like to get active in trading. I have sold on ebay for over 6 years, highest rated seller, powerseller, and 100% feedback. My ebay ID is the same as it is here.

But you do understand you can get several boxes with just 3 relics right?

Correct.

But reading the sell sheet, auto's are approximately 7 per case. I received 2. I had 3 boxes with no relic, auto, or rip card. No rip in the whole case.

I was even shorted an auto in one of the boxes also. It's seems Topps has a real collation problem.

You may have been shorted a "hit", but there is no guarantee of an auto in a box. just an fyi
