Sent (2) 1989 Bowman Tiffany Griffey RCs off to be graded. I figured they were a strong 8 and 9 (possibly a 10). This card was absolutely beautiful. (Have many high-res scans of it).
I got my update from PSA, saying the cards were graded a 7 and an 8. Disappointing of course, but I thought maybe I over-estimated them.
They were delivered today, and the one I thought was supposed to grade an 8, graded an 8. (It was a little off center.) The one I expected to grade a 9, was graded a 7! Upon further examination, the upper left corner is dinged. The pictures were taken right before I mailed the card off (exactly to PSA's specifications), so something had to happen on PSA's end.
Has anyone ever had a card damaged by a grader? What can I do?
