Anyone ever search Photobucket?

I do it often, but anyone else search Photobucket for their player? I just searched now and found this sweet batting practice worn jersey of J.P. Arencibia. I left a comment with my email, hopefully he/she will email me either way. Anyone else found anything cool/rare of their player this way?

I did that once and found the 2008 Finest gold refractor of Justin Upton that I needed. After a little digging, was able to track the guy down and thebenchtrading.com and get the card. I'd been searching for it forever and it was the last one I needed for the rainbow

I used to search it alot for the few rare cards I'm looking for. You mentioned "left a comment" and I just checked it out. Very cool new feature !!!

Very cool. Yea, the "leave a comment" can be very useful. I also found the guy on eBay, so I have my fingers crossed, lol.

Yep, when I collected Francoeur heavily, I would do that pretty often. Not only is it great to see other collections and get ideas, you can find some stuff to try to go after as you mentioned.

Photobucket could have made it even more useful. I've had a few comments left on my cards, but if they don't leave their email then I have no way of contacting them.

I searched a while back for some rare Chris Carpenter stuff, came across a photo of a 2006 Bowman Chrome Red REfractor, never saw one before this and had to have it. lol. Tried to track it down but the owner of the photobucket told me it was traded long time ago.

is their username associated with their comment? check their bucket and leave a comment for them to contact you

i check every so often. i left a comment noting how much i'd like to see these in my collection someday.

i believe that you have to be logged into your PB account? find the image you like and just below it is a comment box to do so. nice feature is that you can delete it later.

Some accounts have it set so you cant leave a comment.

I found a couple Dan Haren cards doing that. I found the 2008 Bowman Red 1/1 but the guy would never contact me back and then he put it up on Ebay and I asked him to put a BIN on it and he did.

Yea, virtualyankee has great stuff. I don't think he is here though.

The guy with the jersey did message me back on eBay and we may be able to work a deal out. Yay! lol

I've searched photobucket before. I spent hours looking and leaving messages for people. Probably 20-30 messages. Didn't hear back from a single one. ::facepalm::
