Yes it is, I haven't been to a show in a couple of years, even a small one. Any chance there will be Jeter auto's?pujolsthomefan33 said:tedwilliamsfan said:I'll be there tomorrow, let me know if it's worth while, thanks in advance,

Is this a show put on by John Cole....if it is I can pretty much tell you about all the dealers and probably about every card they have...

Wax will be decently priced--not blow out, but there is a guy that sets up usually at Johns shows that sells mostly 90's stuff (Boxes and singles), newer hockey, and webkinz, yu-gi-oh etc...
You might want to PM mamunrud and see if him and Dave are setting up...besides John they are the 2 with the nicer stuff and usually much more reasonable.
Other than that, I am not sure if there are any local guys that set up there or not, I think I have been to the st. charles show once.
Out of his regular guys, if you dig you can find some hidden gems every now and then.
All in all, small show, but if you live close by, can be worth the trip.

You think its worth the 30 min. drive for me for a possible Dawson or Williams find?pujolsthomefan33 said:John has the best stuff out of the group, and for the most part, his turnover on newer stuff is pretty good....he would be the one that you would find a Jeter AUTO with...he had 2 or 3 at the last show I saw him at in Peoria....but he is usually pretty high on stuff like that----mainly because he has contacts all over the midwest that pay him whatever he wants for stuff.

Like what kind of stuff though. I have a bunch of low-end and base/inserts/chromes I'd like to move.Oh yeah, and take stuff with you......I usually do between $500-$1000 per show walking around.....they love to buy/trade there......just depends on who goes.

I don't usually find much, even at local shows.
chashawk said:Info I found says 50 tables. If true, this should be better than the Fred C. shows.
 Overall, do you think better or about the same as the Schaumburg shows.pujolsthomefan33 said:chashawk said:Info I found says 50 tables. If true, this should be better than the Fred C. shows.
Its misleading, lol.......John has 6-7 tables by himself and 2 other guys have 4-6 as well....
In fact of Johns 6-7 tables, only about 3-4 have cards on them that are what you would want to look at.....he also has at least 1-2 tables of dollar and junk cards all spread out and 2-3 tables of magazine ads from the 30-60s that he sells....
