Anyone going to the Tri Star show today?

I'm about to get dressed and get my stuff together to go to the show. Anyone else going? Also, anyone know the best place to park without spending too much?

I wouldn't mind going but I need to keep what money I have.I certainly wouldn't get any autographs there since they charge an arm and a leg.


Best place to park(for me anyways) is over there on Texas across from the stadium.Its like $10 I think but you don't have to walk too far.

I assume it's at the George R Brown convention center. If anyone decides to go I'll be wearing a red buckys shirt with the yellow circle and a beaver head in the middle and a white astros hat. Say HI!

It was so so. I really need to find someone to set up with next year. If you like vintage there was a lot but almost no good astros stuff. The people that did have good/decent astros stuff wanted like 150% of ebay prices so I didn't get much.

Ya'll must ignore my rants about how dang hard it it is to find any astros stuff at this show.You'd figure with dealers from all over the country they would be trying to dump all the Houston stuff they had so when they go back home or elsewhere they are not dragging it around.Its starting to make me wonder if Therion hasn't purchased all of the astros cards made and is secretly hoarding them. :lol:

There were a few guys last year who are normally set up where you come in and to the right that had some decent deals on their stuff.That is where I do most of my buying.I can't remember what the dealers names were but after I dealt with them...just about everybody else was insane in their prices.

Big ones?No. But there are a few small ones at hotels and whatnot.I know Sports collectibles of Houston and Houston sports connection throw some either monthly or every couple of months but they are usually very small.I don't even go unless there is an autograph guest there that I need to get a sig from.
