No need to overreact. Baseball tickets are pretty easy to come by, especially in most/all of the cities you listed. As others have said, you'll probably have far better luck just ordering online or buying at the ticket window. That way you'll be able to get whatever days and section you want, rather than being at the mercy of any season ticket holder you might happen to find on the board.

Also, keep in mind that often you can get tickets to a weekday or day game from scalpers for well below the price at the window. Relative to other sports, baseball tickets are really pretty cheap in most markets.
