This message goes out to anyone. For my Journalistic Writing course, my final article is about the baseball card industry and how small businesses cannot strive anymore like they used to. This may not be true for everyone, but back in my town, I grew up with 3 card shops in a mile radius and all of them are now gone.

This can go out to collectors and current card shop owners or people who previously owned a card shop. The questions are pretty basic.

If anyone is interested in helping me out, I can message you the questions. I'd really appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks,

Kyle

If you need another person I'd be happy to do it. I worked in a card shop for a few years and have been collecting for a long time.

1. Where is the sports card industry right now?

2. As a store owner, what risks approached your mind at the time of the opening of the store?

3. For baseball cards in general, how has the hobby changed from when you were a kid.

4. With eBay, collectors can now purchase singles, instead of buying packs to chase the set. Do you think this hurts the industry? How is eBay a positive?

5. What is the most successful product in your store? Why?

6. Is there any one athlete or product that can save the industry?

7. Why have so many card stores failed in the past after opening?

8. Finally, is there anything you would like to say that I didn’t ask?

Those are the questions folks. If some don't apply to you, just skip them. I appreciate the overwhelming response.
