is the helmet a replica i assume??

It's a Riddell helmet..i believe it is an official NFL helmet.

Well if its an official helmet, that great then.

Brees official auto helmets sell for around $500 +/- $50-$100

LT official auto helmets sell for $325-$400

Brees/Reggie Bush replica helmets sell for $500-$650

So if yours is an official on field and not a riddel replica i say your item is worth around $700 +/- 75

Also do the COAs/Pics say when the items were signed? If they mention Rookie year, which is 2001 i believe, that might also add a slight premium.

I should also mention, that quotes i gave you above where for items with PSA/DNA or JSA certifications. Who are your COAs and did the pics come with them?

Well thats great then, you can definitely get a premium for over what i listed. That is just such a cool piece you own and it should really gain value as these guys continue to re write the record books.

Sure they could sign more Chargers helmets together some day (if Brees even still signs Chargers stuff, i dunno.), but that wont matter as you have proof of rookie signatures. Thats something that even Brees and LT can't duplicate.

Very, very cool piece though, would have been even cooler if they added their draft positions as an inscription.

Edited to add- if you are looking to sell, i would throw it up for probably $900-$975 and take offfers from there. Make sure to empathize they are rookie year sigs.

All Star Sports, i think. I am not home to look. But if you look at LT's pic, you can see the logo on the COA matches the banner behind him.

Would it be worth sending it off to PSA? How much would it cost?

when would be the best time to sell the helmet?

Any time from here on out. Brees is super red hot, LT has his followers as well and is back playing well. LT set another noteworthy record yesterday when he got a TD. It was his 150th TD of his career. LT is now the fastest to reach 150 TDs, doing it in only 138 games. Thats really amazing averaging over a TD a game for your career. Tomlinson also passed Marshall Faulk and Jim Brown to move into eighth on the NFL's career rushing list. It seems every game LT plays he is breaking some league or team record. This might be Brees's year to go undefeated and win a Super bowl. If that happens all Brees's cards and memorabilia will take a nice big spike

Yea, I think I will wait to see if the Saints go 16-0. How much does PSA cost to certify something? Is it worth doing it? You can see the COA certificate logo right behind LT.

Yeah i can see the COA logo right above LTs head. They are probably a legit company that got lucky and had these two guys sign for them when they where rookies. Thats also really cool that they took pics at the signing and then sent the pics to the buyers with their coas. I like when autograph companies do that. I have bought several items like this myself for my PC and trust them 100%. You probably could get away with using the COA you already have (can u post closer/reable pics of the COAs?), especially with the pics as back-up, but it can never hurt to also get it PSA/DNAed or JSAed, especially if you are looking to sell and want top dollar. Having the original coa with the pictures AND psa'dna certification would put ALL doubts out of peoples minds and would bid much higher. This is a well known fact 25% higher and up.

Thanks for your help!...You think I can get a certification from a PSA/DNA that is set up at a show? They are just as good right? It's not like when BGS just slaps with that sticker?

Yeah psa/dna would be a fine choice for it. You get even get LOA I(letter of authencity) with a pic on the letter of the autos and helmet, also if you show psa the coa and pictures you have right now, with that 2001 signing date on their, maybe you get psa to mention they are rookie autos right on their LOA. That would be so sick!!! $$$ Cha-Ching $$$$$

In hindsight, $200 was an absolute STEAL for that.

Anyone know what the best and most cost efficient way to have this cerified by PSA/JSA?

Any NYC/NJ area shows? How much would it cost to ship to them and certify?
